The Primary Section of Indian School Al Maabela organized “Parent Orientation Programme 2019-20” for standard III and IV on Monday, 22nd April 2019  and on  Wednesday, 24^th April 2019  for standard V at 6.00 pm in the Multipurpose Hall, ISAM. The students of standard III, IV and V conducted the programme.

The programme commenced on both the days with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries followed by the prayer song. Dr. Gladis Diana Sivakumar, the Vice Principal welcomed the gathering.

The principal, Mr. P Prabakaran enlightened the gathering by walking through the vision of the school followed by the welcome address delievered by the Vice Principal, Dr.Gladis Diana Sivakumar.

A total of 9 students familiarized the parents with the functioning of the school through power point presentations. They detailed on various topics that included the scholastic and co scholastic activities  for primary classes, evaluation pattern, events and functions planned for the academic year, awareness on  usage of ERP, infirmary services provided at school, school transport facility and the rules and regulations to be followed by the students and parents.

Furthermore, Mrs Manjusha, presented the evaluation pattern being followed in class V, in depth.  This was followed by a session with Mrs.Anumol Linz, Counseller. She briefed the parents on inclusive education and the counselling services provided at school. The parents were entertained by a semiclassical dance performance.

Mrs Vandana Kelkar, Assistant Vice Principal proposed the vote of thanks which was followed by the School Anthem.

The one and a half hour session ended with a lot of takeaways for parents.
